Help the next dog get well

We run entirely on donations, and every dollar goes to the dogs in our care. Seldom does a dog arrive needing no medical care at all.

Give once or monthly. CanadaHelps emails your tax receipt for any gift over $20.

Where it goes

The real cost of care

Many of our dogs arrive with conditions that were left untreated for years, and that drives vet costs up fast.

Food and routine medical costs run $60 to $100 a month per dog, more on prescription or raw diets. Our vets give rescues a small discount, but spending $1,000 or more on one bulldog is not unusual. We keep adoption fees low enough to encourage adoption, so donations pay the rest.

Monthly gifts are the most helpful of all. They let us plan for surgeries instead of fundraising after the fact.
