Surrender
Rehoming your dog
It's a hard decision, and we're glad you're looking for a rescue that knows your dog's breed. When we have space, we take owner surrenders of the flat-faced breeds we specialize in.
Please read before you apply
- We only accept brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, and not dogs with serious aggression.
- We usually can't take last-minute surrenders. Dogs in urgent danger, such as those leaving a puppy mill or a high-kill shelter, come first.
- If we think we have the right foster home, we'll arrange to assess your dog before accepting them.
- You'll sign over ownership and provide all vet records. We ask for a surrender fee to help cover their care.
- Their bed, crate, blankets, toys, dishes and food help them settle into foster care.
A volunteer reviews every questionnaire and will contact you. Please be patient while we check for foster space.
